We’re Back! The Edmonton Blues Hall of Fame Foundation is pleased to announce that, after a three-year hiatus due to the pandemic, we will be hosting our 7th annual induction ceremony and celebration. Join us Sunday, October 29th, 2023 at our new location, The Yardbird Suite. Following the presentation ceremony, there will be a great night of music with a set by 2023 inductee Graham Guest and his band, followed by a set featuring special guest Jack de Keyzer and his band. Advance tickets are $30 and can be purchased online through the Yardbird Suite website here.
Doors at 6:00, presentation of awards at 7:00 with music starting at 8:00.
This year we will be honouring and recognizing the following individuals:
- Performer: Edmonton musician Graham Guest
- Builder: Edmonton journalist Roger Levesque (posthumously)
- Literature and Recording: Talking Music Volumes I and II written by Holger Petersen
Founded in 2014, the Edmonton Blues Hall of Fame Foundation recognizes and celebrates institutions, organizations and individuals that have made a significant contribution to the Edmonton Blues community. The Edmonton Blues Hall of Fame Foundation’s goal is to ensure the legacy of Edmonton’s Blues music and history will be available to current and future generations.
